Remain Cool, Calm & Alkaline

Kick out acidity – kerb inflammation and infections

Mother nature has built the human body to keep a healthy balance between acidity and alkalinity. Body organs like stomach, lungs and kidneys play a pivotal role in this process.

Our optimal health and weight rely on by keeping our body system slightly alkaline than acidic. Most of the modern-day drugs are prone to produce acidity in our system. Thus leading to further inflammation in the body and consequently more disease symptoms. Acidity is measured on the pH scale. pH stands for potential of Hydrogen, meaning how much hydrogen is present in a solution. pH scale runs from 0 – 14. 0 being extremely acidic and 14 being extremely alkaline and 7 is neutral. The normal pH level of blood is 7.40.

Poor food choices and stress push our pH level towards the acidic side of the pH spectrum. Keep in mind this imbalance is not the same as metabolic acidosis, which requires hospitalization and medical treatment. You can test your pH level regularly with the help of pH test strips. These test strips are easily available from health food shops or from online retailers like Amazon.

There are toxins in the water we drink if it is not clean, there are toxins in the air in which we breathe, there are toxins in the food we eat if it’s of poor standard overloaded with all kind of junk. Most of these toxins are acid-forming or create acid by-products when our body tries to filter them out. These toxins are often stored in fat cells in our bodies, thus remain away from the bloodstream, hence do more damage in the long run.

Acidity and infections are close relatives. Many pathogens live in our bodies; an acidic environment is an ideal home for such nasty germs. By keeping your body system more acidic you will be actually providing food to these germs and give them the chance to thrive at the cost of your own health. Many researchers have identified this very fact that hyper acidic body tissues and fluids are predisposed to microbial infections [1]. Conversely, keeping our system slightly alkaline keep disease symptoms at bay and we remain healthy.

If you are on conventional medicines, then you must take appropriate measures to eliminate the toxin residuals of these drugs from your system. Instead of taking more drugs like Gaviscon or Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI), there are natural alternatives to these drugs. These include use of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) [2], calcium, magnesium, B12, activated charcoal, soya lecithin etc. along with them, fresh juice of green leafy vegetables and lemon is source for making our system more alkaline than acidic.
Before moving forward, I will briefly discuss PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitor) drugs and their dangerous side effects. The dilemma is your GP or doctor will never dare to tell you about them. Rather he/she will insist you to carry on taking these drugs. If you are taking following drugs omeprazole, lansoprazole and omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate, then you are taking PPIs.

PPIs main function is a pronounced and long-lasting reduction of stomach acid production. Due to these drugs, your body is suffering from side-effects which you might not know due to lack of knowledge. The most dangerous side effect of these drugs is this; PPIs deplete very fast magnesium from your system consequently you suffer all sorts of magnesium deficiency symptoms including; headaches, fatigue, dizziness, rash, itch, flatulence, constipation, gastritis, anxiety, depression, irritable bowel syndrome, and various kinds of infections. PPIs also are responsible for poor absorption of B12, calcium, iron, magnesium in our body system. On the other hand, a precise amount of stomach acid is required to digest animal fat and meat in the stomach. If you are taking PPIs (which has blocked or reduced the production of stomach acid) and at the same time you are eating let’s say meat, how this meat will be digested properly in your stomach? Have you ever thought about this!

Recent research has shown that Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) may be caused due to an immune reaction not due to direct chemical injury from stomach acid [1]. Since PPI drugs cannot treat an autoimmune disorder, therefore in the light of this research, the use of PPI drugs cannot provide a cure from the hyper acidic condition.

In natural Complementary / Alternative Medicines (CAM) there are many natural options available to choose from to overcome the symptoms of acidity and gastritis [3]. Use of Sodium bicarbonate, calcium, magnesium, B12, activated charcoal, soya lecithin etc. along with them, fresh juice of green leafy vegetables and lemon is a useful option. Among homeopathic medicines ROBINIA PSEUDACACIA and several medicines which can be used on the basis of symptoms of a patient to change the pH level of the system from acidity to alkalinity. These options do not have nasty side effects of drugs like PPIs as mentioned above rather most of these products work in synergy with your body system to improve health and wellbeing.

Vaccine – Friend or Foe

In the conventional system of medicines inoculation, also known as vaccinations, is the universal method of immunization. Vaccinations stimulate the body’s own defence mechanism – the immune system, to protect a person against infectious diseases. A vaccinated person’s body produces an immune response in the form of antibodies against antigens. An antigen is a toxin or a foreign invader in the body. These antibodies eliminate the invading pathogens and expel them out of the body. Continue reading “Vaccine – Friend or Foe”

Liver – The Ultimate Recycler

On the right side of your body under the area of your ribs, if you put your right hand, this is where your liver is. The liver is the largest gland in the body. It holds over half-litre (one pint) of blood at any time and performs more than 500 functions. The liver is a dark reddish-brown organ comprises of two lobes. These lobes are further divided into smaller 100,000 lobes called lobules. Over 60% liver is made up of liver cells called hepatocytes, this is where detoxification processes occur and absorption of nutrients take place. Hepatic artery and portal vein supply blood to the liver.

Three-quarter of detoxification takes place in the liver and other one-quarter takes place in the intestine. This detoxification process is a very complex process. Let’s see how our liver under-takes this tremendous task of detoxification besides other activities. Continue reading “Liver – The Ultimate Recycler”

Gene Targeting Technology

Sequence Specific Homeopathic DNA (SSHD)

Gene Targeted – IL10

SSHD Molecule – IL10

Usage – Autoimmune Disorders

Potency – 6C

It has been the well-established fact that homeopathic remedies interact with gene expression. Specific DNA molecules have been prepared to target specific genes in order to optimise the function of the gene. Discoveries made by Prof. Khuda-Bukhsh [1], Saha and colleagues [2], Sunila and colleagues [3], Frenkel and colleagues [4] have shown that homeopathic remedies have the ability to interact with various mammalian genes and promote their expression. Furthermore, Nobel laureate Luc Montagnier has shown that highly diluted (i.e.; equivalent to 6C potency) DNA has telepathic properties and can transfer information between two DNA molecules which have the same sequence [5]. Hyperactive Children – Neurologically Sick Children

Lack of concentration, impulsivity, fidgety, forgetfulness and daydreaming sometimes are normal traits in the behaviour of a child but these can also be attributed to a health problem when these signs start occurring more than normal in the behaviour of a young child. The clinical diagnosis for such symptoms is called Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), sometimes known as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).

There is a long list of diagnosis with fancy medical terms like Neurodevelopmental Disorder (ND), Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), specific developmental delay, tic disorder or hyperkinetic syndrome of childhood, and emotion Disturbance (ED), but the bottom line is all these medical terms points towards the malfunction of a person’s neurology.
